The clear cut benefit of the central station is the RMR (reoccurring monthly revenue). Central stations will now be able to offer features in the Caribbean which were only offered in the United States. The low cost of the service will also not impact the end user dramatically unlike other providers. Initial start up for the central station is also not too cumbersome. Central stations will require the purchase of a Sonic Wall ( 2 per package; both must be connected), and the creation of a master level account (free).
The benefit to the installer is clear cut! This all in one, wireless, and easy to install unit will mean faster installs which will save time and money. The lack of having to run wires means you will be in an out of an installation in 1 to 2 hours.
Benefits to the customer:
Customers will see a reduction in cost for installations. The lack of needing to run wires will insure installations are done fast and with less headaches. Customers will now be able to arm/disarm their panels remotely, activate z-wave devices (lights, locks, garage doors), receive text notifications of events, and view their cameras remotely. Our end users should never feel more safe!
